摘要：In this talk, I shall discuss some results concerning extreme problems associated with Dirichlet eigenvalues of the Laplacian on a bounded domain in the Euclidean space. Starting with Weyl's asymptotic formula which gives a qualitative behavior of large eigenvalues, we shall discuss some recent results on more quantitative estimates, related geometric variational/extreme problems for eigenvalues and some open problems.
