摘要： It is a classical result that the semistable vector bundles on a curve form a compact moduli space. In a joint work with Andres Fernandez Herrero and Dario Weissmann, we show that this is the only open condition on families of sheaves that yields a compact moduli space. This is based on the preprint arXiv: 2504.11155.
