陈艳萍,1963年9月生,湖南省隆回县人。华南师范大学教授、博士生导师。2004年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”,2008年被聘为广东省高等学校“珠江学者”特聘教授、中山大学兼职博士生导师。

        1982年毕业于湘潭大学获学士学位,1988年毕业于湘潭大学获硕士学位,1997年毕业于山东大学获博士学位,1997年9月至1999年11月在南京大学作博士后工作。1982年至1988年在湘潭师范学院工作,1988年至2008年在湘潭大学工作,2008年1月至今在华南师范大学工作。1999年评为教授,2001年评为博士生导师。

        研究领域是计算数学,研究方向是偏微分方程数值方法理论及其应用,主要从事混合有限元高效率高精度算法、多孔介质渗流驱动问题数值方法、奇异摄动问题的自适应移动网格方法、最优控制问题有限元计算和谱方法的数值分析等方面的研究。在SIAM Numer. Anal.和Math. Comp.等国际一流学术期刊上发表了学术论文82篇,应邀在美国、加拿大、英国、德国、日本、新加坡和香港等地作学术访问10余次,应邀出席国际会议20余次,并作大会特邀报告10次,是国际学术刊物“Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics”(the Global Science Press)的编委。

       自2001年以来,连续主持国家自然科学基金项目3项、教育部和省教育厅重点项目3项、教育部首批资助骨干教师基金项目等多项课题研究,是973项目“高性能科学计算研究”第三课题组“复杂流动问题的高性能算法研究”的主要研究成员。2008年获教育部自然科学一等奖(排名第三),2004年获湖南省科学技术进步二等奖(排名第一)、享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴2002年评为湖南省计算数学学科带头人培养对象、教育部“全国高等学校

优秀骨干教师”等等;是国家重点学科“计算数学”的主要学科带头人之一。

在人才培养方面,由本人指导已出站的博士后1名,已毕业博士生5名(2名已为教授并主持国家自科基金项目),已毕业硕士生25名,其中有8名考取复旦大学、中科院和美国等大学的博士生,1名获中国计算数学学会第三届青年优秀论文竞赛一等奖(全国只3个一等奖)、2名获湖南省优秀硕士学位论文奖、2名获湘潭大学研究生校长奖、2名获湘潭大学研究生创新基金项目等等。正在培养博士生3名、硕士生9名。本人是2006年国家精品课程“数值计算方法”的主讲教师,主持湖南省2005年研究生精品课程“偏微分方程数值解”建设立项项目,参与湖南省教改课题“高等教育大众话背景下地方综合性大学计算与应用数学专业人才培养模式创新研究”等教学项目;2006年获湖南省高等教育省级教学成果二等奖,参加编写国家“十一·五”规划教材。
